I ‘borrowed’ the name for this exhibition from the album of the great jazz saxophonist Sonny Rollins. It describes the best the world in my paintings – active, colourful, dynamic. I’ve painted the Sun and the stars, because I’ve sought for the light both in the day and through the nigh. On those canvases there is light and there is darkness. There is good, but there is no evil. Everything on them is equally important – the skies and the seas, the constellations and the blade of grass, the shadow of a bird… One Earth of harmony and graciousness. And a sky full of falling stars.

“Взех „назаем“ името на тази изложба от албума на великия саксофонист Съни Ролинс. То описва най-добре света в тези мои картини – активен, цветен, динамичен. Рисувал съм Слънцето и зведите, защото и през деня, и през нощта съм търсил светлината. В платната ми има светлина и мрак, но добро без зло. Всичко в тях е еднакво важно за мен – и небесата, и моретата, и съзвездията, и стръкчето трева, и сянката на птица… Една земя на хармония и добронамереност. И небе, пълно с падащи звезди.”
